Rúmil Awards

Rúmil fanciers unite!  Non-fanciers, um...Gollum says 'Leave now and never come back!'.

After much discussion between the Three Lorien Sisters (That would be Maggie, Monty, and myself), a decision was made that they both wanted some representation of the other two Lorien Brothers. (Apparently, just because an elf can speak fluent Westron doesn't mean he gets to hog all of the awards.)  So, at the moment, there's only a basic Orophin award and a basic Rúmil award, but I'm sure once they start getting a few more ideas, some other things will be added.  Also, they will likely soon come up with something else for this portion of the page, at which time this generic blurb will be replaced with something splendid, or at the very least, kinda funny.

That being said, the current award for Rúmil is for fan fiction, fan art, or a website, so technically it will be awarded thrice in a month, once to fan fiction, once to an online resource, and once to fan art.  Of course, if nothing happens along for the award to be given to, then it probably won't be handed out.  Monty is pretty much in charge of this realm, so she's the one you're going to have to bribe when it comes to this award.  It doesn't quite have a proper name yet, but we're working on that.  We've got a month to think about it.

At the bottom of the page is a form which can be filled out if you wish to nominate yourself, or someone else for one of the awards.  Nominations do not guarantee awards, however, it does increase the chances of winning.  Below are the awards, and the recipients as listed.  If you find something online claiming to have won an award, yet has not been listed here, chances are they know how to copy and paste things from the WWW to their own web pages, and shall be dealt with as needed.  * Motions toward large wooden crate with the words "Fragile - Balrog" written on it. *

None of the links here are internal, save the one to go back to the previous page.  So not only will you be traveling away from this site of insanity, but if something isn't working, it's not an error on my end. (Although you may feel free to point out such issues to me, it's not likely I can do much about it.  Be glad for those links which do work, for in these dark times...)
