Although you will find the
cover images and summaries, you will not find the content of the comics on
this web site due to the obvious copyright infringements that would
occur. Besides, it's much more fun to pick up a copy than to read it
on-line. And, the more copies purchased, the more likely it is that
ThunderCats will stick around for a while. Issue #0 and the Sourcebook are
also included in this section, as they were released during the release of
this particular mini series. The entire series was written by Ford
Lytle Gilmore.

Issue #3: Lunatacs
|
 |
| The Lunatacs make their escape (whether
they were escaping from Way Outback or the Grey Penal planet or the
Circus Train or a wet paper bag is unclear), and Officer Mandora
tries unsuccessfully to recapture them. Looks like another job
for the ThunderCats.

Issue #5: Grune
Cover art by Ed McGuinness and Jason Martin;
pencils by Ed McGuinness adn Joe Phillips
|
 |
| Mumm-Ra gives Grune another chance at
destroying the ThunderCats by bringing back the ghost warrior and
making him mortal once again. Grune not only has his mace, but
is also armed with the Sword of Plundaar. Is this the end of
our feline heroes? |

ThunderCats Sourcebook
Cover Art by Arthur Adams & Carrie Strachan,
Various artists, Test by Ford Lytle Gilmore
|
 |
| Although not all of the information is
precisely accurate, and not all of the drawings are done to
perfection...any book with Pantrho and Cheetara on the same page is
my kind of book! Heh heh...but seriously, besides giving attention
to main characters, it includes the "new" ThunderCats
(Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-o) as well as memorable characters that
appeared very few times (Ratar-O, Grune, Hachiman, and Mandora). |
