Name: Pumyra Race: Thunderian [Puma] Occupation: ThunderCat Warrior [The fact that Pumyra was a healer was alluded to in the series, though her limited screen time did not allow for this to be a much developed part of the character's history.] Weapon:
Lariat/Sling [Wrapped around her waist is a belt that looks very much like a
long, long tail of some sort. It can be used as a rope, but more often she
slings small objects at her enemies with it, pelting them with rocks or pebbles
or whatever else she might have handy. Special Abilities: Beyond her healing skills, Pumyra does have the ability to run fast, though not as fast as Cheetara can run. However, Pumyra tends to be able to sustain a high speed for longer distances, which would lead one to believe that Cheetara would win the sprint, but Pumyra would win the race. Pumyra can also jump - both quickly and very high. Her acrobatics have helped in more than one situation. Love
Interests: The age old question of whom you would live with on a
desert island was not likely something Pumyra ever thought she would need to
answer. Being stranded for what seemed to be years on an island with two
Berbils, and old man, and a strapping young blacksmith leads one to the
conclusion that there may have been something going on between the puma and
Bengali. Once off the island and into a ThunderCat uniform, Bengali spent
much of his time on New Thundera, while Pumyra was left to tend to Cat's Lair,
Third Earth, with her only Thunderian companion being Tygra, who was left at the
Tower of Omens. Again, one can only speculate, but it isn't rocket science
to figure things out. Episodes of Interest: "ThunderCats HO!" and "Mumm-ra Lives!" both show many examples of Pumyra standing in the background with very few lines. Sadly, things went down hill from there, especially once she was left on Third Earth. Catch Phrase & Quotes: Again, I'm drawing a blank on this. I suppose I could just list anything that Pumyra ever said, but even that might not be enough for this section.
Final Thoughts: One of the big jokes around the fandom is the possibility that the writers may have forgotten her character existed, prompting many fan fiction writers to exploit her 'namelessness' or 'lack of existence'.
