ALBANY, July 3 /PRN/ -- One million dollars.
That's the Instant Lottery Wheel Jackpot for next Thursday,
July
10.
One of the ten finalists flirted with the $900,000 jackpot
being
offered today, but none of the ten was able to capture the top prize,
thus lifting the jackpot for next Thursday to $1 million.
Two of today's ten finalists each spun prizes of $15,000, and
a
third flirted with the jackpot, but the wheel stopped at the slot
adjacent to the jackpot for a $10,000 prize. The finalists spun a
total of $67,500 in cash prizes.
Marjorie Levy and Lynne
Lipton, both of Manhattan, each spun a
$15,000 prize. They shared more than a Manhattan address.
Mrs. Levy was accompanied by her son, Sheldon, an advertising
executive who produces commercials and is the producer of a
television commercial featuring Miss Lipton, who
presently is the
''Caldor Lady'' of television commercials.
Rose Beatrice of Bethpage won a $10,000 prize, but the
bouncing
ball flirted with the ''jackpot'' slot before it dropped in to stay
in the adjacent wheel slot, worth $10,000.
Four other finalists spun prizes of $5,000 each, and three
spun
prizes of $2,500.
Each week, ten finalists get their chance to spin the New
York
Lottery's Instant Lottery Wheel for a chance to win the jackpot --
now at $1 million -- and cash prizes of from $2,500 to $25,000.
The finalists are chosen from among entries mailed in by
persons
who match three wheels on an Instant Lottery ticket.
If none of the finalists spins ''Jackpot,'' the prize is
rolled
over to the next week and is increased, based on sales.
Today's finalists and the prizes won are:

Lipton, both of Manhattan, $15,000 each.
