Biographical Information
Born on February 23, 1939, Gerianne Raphael is the daughter of Sidney and Evelyn Raphael. Her father was a concert pianist, and Gerianne herself has three children: Kathleen, Kristen, and Deirdre.
Having done much in the realm of theatre work in her career, notable projects include The Man of La Mancha at the American National Theatre Academy and West Side Story during a United States tour. Gerianne has also appeared in CBS soap As the World Turns, and voiced the characters of Pumyra, Chilla, and others in the popular children's cartoon ThunderCats. She also has a clothing design displayed among the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
