Rules to the Egg Hunt
1. Have fun.
2. A good guardian never drops his weapon.
3. Best viewed while eating candy out of an Easter basket.
4. You will find het. You will find slash. You will find both smushed together. You won't find anything above PG13 in the egg hunt.
4. Don't worry about canon discrepancies today. You will more than likely go 'what the heck was he doing in Valinor?' or something along those lines at least once. Enjoy the stories. Let me figure out how to make it work next month.
5. Each egg is hidden only once. All of the eggs are hidden in the First Homely House, though you are encouraged to visit the sister sites. Those would be:

6. The eggs will stay up until Friday, April 30, 2004, so don't worry about having to find everything right now.
7. Use the egghunt page in a separate window to keep track of your progress, or print it up to check off the eggs as you find them. Eggs will be on the main page, and on pages directly connected to the first page. That means, there aren't any eggs on individual story pages, but there might be some in the library. Good luck!
Easter Basket!
Hey, there's eggs to hunt for, but you always get something in your Easter basket, don't you? [The last two will be familiar for those in the HL group.]
Perfect Example of a Proper Elf
When: Starting this Sunday, April 11th
Where: The First Homely House of Valinor
To What End: Just like Christmas, when presents were hidden all
around the house with nifty new fics, pics, and other fun things
inside, Easter Eggs will be cleverly hidden all around the house.
As always, silliness reigns supreme.
Here's a sample of things to be found:
The Elfling's hardened expression fell in an instant, the stuffed
horse suddenly hanging loosely from his hand. "You're sending me
back to my room?"
"We've determined there are no dragons in Lothlorien," concluded
Celeborn. "Good night."
"But I don't want to sleep all by myself," blurted out Haldir,
holding back his tears. "I'm all alone…and it is so dark…"
"There is nothing wrong with sleeping by yourself," Celeborn said,
motioning to the door.
"Then *you* sleep in my bed and let *me* sleep with Nana," said
Haldir.
