Note about the poems: Even though some of the poems here are credited to various elves, obviously, they didn't write them. For the sake of keeping things with the stories, if a particular elf is credited with the poem in a story, they are credited with being the author. I still wrote all of what you see here, unless otherwise noted.
One of the many games played at the King's Kastle is the Limerick Competition. The Limericks below were all written for a plot bunny that never was. They may eventually be used elsewhere.
Although most of the limericks are not true limericks, the point of the competition is to come up with a limerick that is also a riddle. Basically, it is about someone or something and the others have to guess what. Elrond's does not follow that rule, but the ones Haldir and Orophin came up with do.
